Once, he was arrested by the forces of the police. He was beaten by the police forces. But more determined than past, Rasoul continued his revolutionary activities and efforts in Malayer City. During the days of victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, Rasoul made day and night tireless efforts in Malayer City.

After the glorious victory of Islamic Revolution of Iran, Martyr “Rasoul Heydari”? was still considered as the flag holder of the revolutionary young people in Malayer City. After receiving his national diploma in 1979, Martyr “Rasoul Heydari”? went to Hamedan City in order to serve the Muslim and revolutionary people of that city. He joined Sepah Pasdaran [The Army of the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution of Iran] in Hamedan City. It was because Sepah Pasdaran had not been formed in Malayer City yet.
Along with a number of his revolutionary friends, Martyr “Rasoul Heydari”? formed and organized the Sepah Pasdaran in Malayer City in 1980. Then, he attracted revolutionary and committed people for this force [Sepah Pasdaran]. In Sepah Pasdaran of Malayer City, he severely fought against the agents of SAVAC [The intelligence service of the Shah Regime]. In this line, he arrested and punished a number of members of SAVAC in that city. The revolutionary decisiveness of Martyr “Rasoul Heydari”? caused a great fear among the anti - revolutionary forces. Following the problems in Kordestan Province that had been caused by the anti - revolutionary “Monafeghin”? forces [Monafeghin means hypocrites and it was told to a particular anti - revolutionary party and group that did anti - revolutionary violent activities at the beginning of the Islamic Revolution], Rasoul along with a number of his friends became volunteer to go to Kordestan Province. He started activities against these anti - revolutionary groups in Paveh City. Rasoul and his friends resisted in “Serish Abad”? of Kordestan Province in 1979. Rasoul fought with the Iraqi aggressive forces in “Gilan - e Gharb”? and “Sar - e Pol - e Zahab”? battle fields for some time. In this region of battle fields, he designed few operation plans in order to attack to the enemy. In these attacking operations, he participated actively too.
In 1984, Rasoul stopped the enemy by using innovative and clever actions. He arranged series of preventative operations against the enemy in the North West region of the country. He fought against the Iraqi forces for years. Despite few war equipments, he did not complain and continued his efforts tirelessly.
Rasoul was once severely injured on his back in Kurdistan Region of Iraq. And since there were not professional equipments and tools of surgery there, he tolerated to be under medical operation without being unconscious.
During the eight years of the sacred defense, Rasoul sincerely served in the battle fields of south and especially west of the country for 65 months. He accomplished many reconnaissance missions in Kurdistan Region of Iraq for several times. He moved ahead into the depth of Iraq’s land from the north of Iraq. And for accomplishing reconnaissance missions, he even moved ahead until the border of Syria.

When the imposed war finished, Rasoul entered the University of Imam Hossein in order to complete his higher education. He started to study education in the course of “Political Sciences”? in this university. He was educating at the last year of university when the racist Serbians started aggressive attacks on the revolutionary Muslims of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was the time when Martyr “Rasoul Heydari”? was assigned as the diplomat of Islamic Republic of Iran in Bosnia. He went to Bosnia and started his job in Visoko City in the Central Bosnia.
Relying on his great amount of revolutionary and battle experiences, Martyr “Rasoul Heydari”? started serving the oppressed people, particularly the young people of Bosnia. By his religious behavior and moralities, Martyr “Rasoul Heydari”? propagated the religious culture among the people of Bosnia.
Servovich, the Priest in Visoko City has said about Rasoul: “I found Rasoul a very simple and believer knowledgeable man. He always trusted in God.”?
The people of Bosnia always believed that he was an honest companion beside them. Rasoul loved the people of Visoko too. He behaved with the people of Visoko in a kind and loving way. Mr Chengij, the member of “SAD”? Council and also the founder of “Patrikaliga”? Unit has said about Martyr “Rasoul Heydari”? as the following:

Finally and after years of jihad and fight in the way of truth, Rasoul Heydari was martyred in Bosnia and Herzegovina on “Eyd - e Ghadir”? [An Islamic celebration day] of 1993. Rasoul had found out that a part of the Visoko City had been infected by the Croat forces (HVO). And it was the road over which the Iranian people passed.

Before departing, he had called his mother and congratulated “Eid - e Ghadir”? to her. He had said goodbye to every one in a spiritual mood. In that region, he was captured by the Croat forces that were fighting with the Muslim forces at that period of time. He was martyred and achieved his greatest wish after showing a brave resistance against these Croat forces.
His kind heart beat for the dear Islam. And finally, he was martyred in the way of Islam. He joined the group of lovers of God from Europe. He built a bridge as long as eternity and flew to the heaven from the heart of Europe, the land of unbelief.

We are upset that we have lost this dear person and other dear people; but there is no happiness and honor higher and more than this. And it is not possible that a young person enters the battle fields and is not martyred.

It is the gate to enter west and Europe. The issue of Bosnia’s battle field is more critical than the war between Iraq and Iran. The position of the person who leaves his family and goes to the battle field in Bosnia has a very higher spiritual position. May God bless him and give reward to him!
