Navideshahed: Biography: It is common with biography to be started from day, month and year of birth, but in order to introduce Sayed Mojtaba it is better to go back to the period before his birth; because we know that it is better to review the background and past periods of a phenomenon and think about the process of creating it deeply.
Mazandaran has always been the origin of the pure Shiites and real followers of Innocent Imams. One of the clears exemplifications of this claim is holding mourning and happy ceremonies for the death and birth of the Innocent Imams (AS) respectively that were held by the ancestors of Sayed Mojtaba in Sari where they were very active.
The late Sayed Ali Akbar Alamdar (father of Sayed Mojtaba) is one of them. Feeling that there was not a place for common prayer in the 8th region of Sari, he dedicated one of the rooms in his house for this purpose. It was this seemingly small house which accommodated the lovers of the innocent Imams (AS) for some times and there he saw the smart spiritual pains of the lovers during Moharam and Safar.
IN such a house which was beatifies by the names of Imam Hossein (AS) and Zahra (SA), in the morning of January 1st 1966 when muezzins were calling people for the Morning Prayer a male child was born whom their parents called Mojtaba. Later on his ideas, behavior and treatment showed how his great spirit took the messages, and spiritual benefits of this house.
The birth of Sayed Mojtaba made his parents hopeful and saw a luminous fate in his bright feature. They believed that Mojtaba will decrease the problems of their lives and will be greatly helpful for them.
Sayed Mojtaba was the second child of his family and the first son of Sayed Ramadan Alamdar. Although this dear man was a middle class person, but he always was concerned about the education of his children and wanted his children to learn the Islamic Teachings well and act upon them. Therefore he advised his wife to make Sayed Mojtaba Familiar with Qur’an. This holy mother who was always thankful toward God during Sayed Mojtaba’s childhood for bestowing him on her, made great effort to educate and train her children; she paved the way for her children to learn Qur’an.
He passed his primary schooling in Martyr Abdu Al – Hakim Ghrahjeh (Heshmat Davari), secondary schooling in Martyr Danesh (Nima) and passed some of his high school years in Martyr Kheiri Moghadam Art Center of Sari successfully.
Although the high school education of Sayed Mojtaba was aborted due to his following of the older man of Jamaran, the Great Imam Khomeini and doing his prayer, he was drawn to the war fields; but this opened the way for a university in whose classes the lessons of love and generosity were being offered and Sayed could manage to become one of its best students. It should be noted that Sayed Mojtaba continued his studying after war and finished high school education.
Sayed Mojtaba along with some of his friends passed the educational period of military service in Manjil in 1983 (when he was 17 years old) and afterwards he was sent to Kurdistan region. The presence of Sayed in Kurdistan region coincided with the end of the 4th Karbala after which he went to Savoji base in Penjvin in Iraq. In 1984 Sayed Mojtaba went to the south front and served in Imam Hossein ’s Battalion which was a part of 25th Mazandaran Army as Machine gun holder and under authority of the brave general of Islam Samad Asvadi prevented the Ba’si Regime soldiers to aggress our Islamic country. This honorable soldier was one of the brave men of Karabala 1 which lead to the release of Mehran. It was in this battle that Sayed Mojtaba lost one of his best friends. His name was Hamid Reza Mardan Shahi; they were classmates both during education at high schools and in military service. He loved Hamid Reza very much and therefore after Karbala 1 he and some of his friends made a very brave decision; they decided to bring Hamid Reza’s corpse back to their family and released the family from that anguish. In the heavy days after his bereavement of Hamid Reza, Sayed Mojtaba made friend with another fellow companion, named Hossein Talebi Natatj. Sayed Mojtaba himself admits that he has learnt many Ethical behaviors from him and has set him as his paradigm to follow. These friends were all in his memories and everyone remembers him with happiness. There were many friends who were in contact to Sayed Mojtaba from different cities of Mazandaran Province during the 8 years of the forced war. Some of them were martyred and some of them were still alive and there were mutual friendship among them. But the important point is that Sayed Mojtaba was always in search of learning and gaining knowledge by these friendships. He used to make use of everyone’s positive characteristics according to their capacities. After the Karabal 1, Sayed Mojtaba joined Moslem Ibne Aghil Battalion and remained there until the war ended. (It should be pointed out that Sayed Mojtaba was in Ya Rasoul (SA) Battalion for sometimes).
In 1986 Sayed Mojtaba was ready to attend Karbal 4 with Moslem Battalion. But since this battalion did not take part in Karabala 4 due to some reasons, this mission aborted and in this way the first operation that Sayed Mojtaba took part was Karbal 5 which was conducted in Shalamcheh.
The Moslem Battalion was established in Abadan and in a region called Saidavieh before the above operation. It was here that Sayed along with his comrades beside the broken and curved yet strong and resisting date – palm trees of the south sang lover’s songs and it can be said that Sayed has laid the basis of singing songs in the honor of the Innocent Imams from here. Along with these lover’s songs in his gatherings with friends and comrades he used to complain for he was not hit by a racket until he was hit by a racket in 6 April 1987 in his right shoulder and in spite of his friends insistence he did not take a step back from front and he stayed there in such condition until the end of the operation. This quiver was never brought out from his body and he kept it as a present from God. In spite of the fact that he was injured in Karbala 8, he took part in the operation of Moslem Battalion in the manner of Imam Hossein (AS) in Karabala 10; the Mavoot hills still remember his bravery and resistance against the enemy.
After Karabal 10, he was still in the south areas and was amassing his profile of bravery and generosity.
Sayed was still in the south areas with army 25 until he was officially joined Sepah at the end of April 1987.
Mojtaba was appointed the general of Salman Groups in July 1987. Although he accepted this responsibility very cautiously and with great care – this is what his handwritings show – but as it is expected from great men he greatly supported his forces on one part and doing his duty seriously on the other, he could manage to do this important duty very good.
In a word Sayed has considered himself in the service of the Salman Group yet he did not forget that he was the commander of this group and as a commander has many difficult responsibilities. Mojtaba used to work more and to say less and he was never oblivion of hid duties.
The brave men of Salman group remember how well Sayed Mojtaba as a brave and young commander, did his duties. For example he made his group completely ready for the great operation of Valfajr 10 by exercises of war at nights and recurrent walking in the 7 – Hill area.
The waiting days were passed until in March 1366, Salman Group along with the groups of Salman Battalion was preparing to go to the west of the country for another operation. Exercises and preparing activities continued in the mountains of one thousand and one martyrs in the general area of Dezli and finally Salman group under command of Sayed Mojtaba could do daring war in Valfajr 10 operation. The duty of Sayed Mojtaba and his group was freeing and discharging of forked roads of Khormal, Sayed Sadegh and Do Jaileh and secured the post – station that was located in that location. And this Y – road will never forget his bravery. It was here that Sayed Mojtaba was shot in his side and injured severely and his led to the loss of his spleen.
Although Sayed has done his duty towards the Islamic Republic in the battle field of the forced war by his recurrent participations in the war and bearing many injuries, but his quarrelsome and morose spirit and his interest in Karbala of Iran draw him to the war again. Even after the accepting 598 Declaration, we should seek him in the palm – tree jungles of Abadan and earthworks of Shalamcheh.
Mojtaba has ended his mission in the south in 1990 and afterwards he continued his activities in the operation unit and then in Sport department of the Army 25 Karbala in Sari.
Therefore he came out with bright results from the small holy war victoriously and prepared himself for the Great War. It was in this year that Sayed Mojtaba married a girl from the great descendents of Prophet Mohammad (SA), the result of which is a daughter. It should be noted that he was very happy that he married a girl from Prophet Mohammad’s (SA) descendents and could manage to name his daughter Zahra.
In the last months of the forced, Sayed Mojtaba with other Baisiji forces of the martyr’s base in region 8 formed "Bani Fatima” committee to pay visits to the Martyrs’ families of this region and used to mention the sufferings of the Innocent Imams.
"Bani Fatima” committee executed some of their good and interesting programs in Dehghanzadeh Province of the region 8 of Sari and in these programs Mojtaba sing songs in the honor of the innocent Imams.
On the other hand, in the committee of the followers of Imam Khomeini (R. T. A.), its center was located in the central mosque of Sari, and with the efforts of the holy martyr Babak Khateri and some other major Basiji members, continued to see the martyrs’ families where the sufferings of the innocents Imams were mentioned.
With regard to the central position of the committee of the followers of Imam Khomeini
in Sari and extensive activities, Mojtaba and friends followed their holy purpose in that group.
The committee of the followers of Imam Khomeini (R. T. A. ) of Sari was formed at the will of some Basiji forces to be a place for the gatherings of the pure forces and protectors of the values of the forced war after the forced war and after he death of Imam Khomeini (R. T. A.).
Later on the Imam Khomeini (R. T. A.) committee was successful in attracting by reading Komail Prayer in the house of the martyrs of Sari. Choosing new methods in the ceremonies of the committee, participating of the young generations and conducting the ceremonies and some other spiritual factors are some of the reasons for the inclinations of the youth towards this committee.
Notable receiving of the committee made the continuation of the ceremonies in the martyrs’ houses difficult and this was the reason that Sayed Mojtaba suggested to establish a place for the programs of the committee.
From then on Sayed Mojtaba was one of the important members of the committee and took a great role in making decisions and in the laying the policies of the committee so much so that the name of the committee is tied with the name of Sayed Mojtaba and people remember the committee of the followers of Imam Khomeini (R. T. A. ) by his name or the committee of the followers of Imam Khomeini (R. T. A. ) reminds people of the name of Sayed Mojtaba. Therefore it is not fair to investigate the report card of Sayed Mojtaba without taking his activities in the committee of the followers of Imam Khomeini ( R. T. A. ) in to consideration.
1.Holding ceremonies for reading the prayer of Komail.
2.Holding ceremonies for reading the prayer of Tavassol (having confidence in).
3.Holding ceremonies for the birth of the Innocent Imams.
4.Holding ceremonies for the death of the Innocent Imams.
5.Holding ceremonies of the supper of the aliens in the honor of the Innocent Imams.
6.Holding ceremonies at the nights of Ramadan with the ceremonies that are held during the odd days of the last ten days of Ramadan.
7.Holding ceremonies for the death of Chief of Martyrs in the nights of Moharram and Safar.
8.Holding ceremonies of Arbaein (the 40th day after the death of Imam Hossein (AS).9.Holding ceremonies of memory in remembrance of the forced war’s martyrs.
10.Holding ethical and religious classes.
11.Performing the plan of reading the Call for Prayer in the city.
12.Holding the exciting prayer of Arafeh.
The above - mentioned activities were the programs of the committee, which are still performed. But as it was mentioned the committee and Sayed Mojtaba were intertwined together and this is why we can see a trace of him in almost all of the programs of the committee. For example Mojtaba was one of the chief executives who run the programs of the Nights of Memories that were being held in the faculty of medicine in sari. And certainly the participants remember his holy sound and his love, spiritual and lyrics in remembrance of his comrades. According to what the participants of the programs and what Mojtaba’s friends say, the committee and Mojtaba were always amassing in the deepness of themselves and the programs so much so that the atmosphere of Ramadan ceremonies and were qualitatively better and accordingly Mojtaba’s songs were spiritually deeper.
Mojtaba has internalized the love of the innocent Imams and his holy mother, Zahra, and this was why that his enthusiasm and anxiety accorded with the sufferings of the innocent Imams.
Mojtaba use to start the ceremonies of the Mohrram and Safar with the prayer of Ashura and after his speech he used to finish his speeches with praying Imam Hossein (AS).
He was used to bringing the hearts of the mourners to Karbala so that they mourn the death of Imam Hossein (AS) and his dear mother, Zahra (SA) and set the message of Zahra (SA), the epitome of love, patience and insight, as their paradigm to follow.
Silent prayers of Mojtaba in the holy month of Ramadan are not limited to his presence in the committee for he used to continue his lover’s songs like his ancestors in friend’s gatherings until morning. He was never careless towards his prayer in Komail praying as if he won’t be in this world for a second more. He used to join prayers in the ceremonies of the nights of the Alien Lovers and express his grief in groups by passing the streets and alleys of the city.
The love of Sayed to the innocent Imams is not restricted to the day of their martyrdom yet he used to hold ceremonies with the committee at the birthdays of the innocent Imams. He was the epitome of "they are happy with our happiness and worried with our worries.”
Said was always thinking of establishing a fix location for holding the ceremonies of the committee. He finally succeeded, of course along with the other members of the committee, in establishing a place for Bait Al Zahra (SA), House of Zahra, for which Sayed was very happy.
Although he did not survive to see the final establishment of the place but his fellow companions are determined to fulfill this important task.
I am now with Sayed Mojtaba Alamdar and we would like him to tell us a bit about the forced war.

- Hello and God’s mercy on you.
- In the name of God the Merciful the Compassionate.
Indeed it is not possible to talk about the forced war as it is not possible to talk about some characteristics, dispositions and behaviors of the innocent Imams (AS). I have repeatedly said to my friends that I can never talk about the atmosphere of the fore front, dispositions of a soldier and if any one has said that I can it is a mistake. Certainly no one can tell you anything about the situation, dispositions of fighters, what they had in mind or heart when they were in operation in Shalamcheh, Mehran and all our fronts.
This is soothing obvious during the forced war and it was made clear for everyone that what happens in the fore fronts will never occur again for there is no repetition. Even if the there is another war and the battalions start to move toward war, certainly those scenes and conditions and states of mind will never occur again. There is no one like to those soldiers; our war was the war of light against darkness. You could understand this if you were at the war yourselves and see what was there.
In one great man’s words, we were there in the service of the boys only for a short period, there were people who were there from the beginning of the war. They know that this was the war of light against darkness, complete faith against complete disbelief and this was shown there.
It was enough if a Basiji went to the front for any reason. I did not go there with full awareness but it was after I have gone there, that I felt belonging. It was enough if a Basiji went to the front for any reason, and then he would remain there.
Let’s return to Imam Khomeini’s words where he said "war is university” and this affected the comrades greatly. The impact of these words were so much that it influenced their conditions and they were hopefully waiting for their death because they thought of such death as achievement and it was why all our martyrs, all our comrades were getting light from war. Some were so luminous that they were shedding light on their environment. But their light before front in comparison to the light after front is like a candle to a projector. It was there that they could manage to shed light on the world.
In fact many countries knew Iran by the forced war and all of them were bewildered for it was really surprising that an army with all military equipments is defeated by a number of Basiji people who were very young and could not achieve their goals. We heard that the Iraqi soldiers shouting they would be in Tehran with in three days. They were sure that they would conquer Khozestan Province in one day, Lorestan Province in the second and Tehran in the third. It was just a simple dream and thanks God for they were buried with this aim along with their supporters. All these were done by the brevity of the martyrs and all those who served during these 8 years.
Do not fly away from the territory of my beloved, O! Butterfly
For the noise of your wings might awake my dear
It was January of 1996 and since Sayed Mojtaba did all his prayers in Rajab and was ready for those of Sha’ban. He was happy and this was apparent in his speech. After his presence in the birthday party of Imam Ali Kabar (25th of August) in Amol and his presence in the central mosque of Sari for he mentioned that he might not be with them in mid – Sha’ban (29th of August) and then he completed his respect to the 12th Imam with his great songs of praise.
This state indicated an acceptance that Sayed was looking for its result for a long time and even if the conditions of the test changed but he never took a step back from his aims. After this event the loneliness of his friends was increasing due to their bereavement of such a nightingale.
Since the flower has gone and the rose – garden is died
You won’t see anything from the nightingale any more.
… and finally in mid – Sha’ban (29th of August), the location of the committee which was decorated by Sayed and his friends was indication of a great ceremony.
All the committee members were expecting Sayed Mojtaba’s ingenious skills to be shown; they prepared themselves to hear his wonderful songs. After a while the birthday ceremony started in the presence of great multitude and to the great wonder of the attendants, Sayed Mojtaba did not attend the ceremony.
It was near the end of the ceremony that the news of his illness came to those expectants and this cause a great worry among the crowd. This was the first time that the ceremony ended without the presence of Sayed Mojtaba.
After this, meeting of friends and lovers was limited to Imam Khomeini’s Hospital in Sari. Durinh his presence in Imam Khomeini’s Hospital the atmosphere of the hospital was full tears that were shedding for him by his friends and lovers; all of them were praying for him so much that it can not be expressed and written down for the pen itself has not the capacity to bear such an event.
But with great sorrow for it is not possible to combat God’s wills. Yes, the truthful and pure prayers of Mojtaba finally win over the prayers of his friends and family members and he, who was like a nightingale singing songs in praise of the innocent Imams, accepted wholeheartedly the "call for coming back” and achieved martyrdom.
His corpse was buried in the martyrs section of the cemetery of Molla Majd Addin in Sari and it is six years from his death and still his lovers, butterflies, fly over his grave and talk about their secret with him.
Yes, finally he is benefited by his being beside of God and Prophet Mohammad (SA) and the innocent Imams and we suffer his separation.
