Parviz: Martyr Ghanipour Annual Book Festival Is Changing into a Sustainable Movement

According to the reporter of Navideshahed; Mohsen Parviz delivered speech at closing ceremony of 7th annual book festival of Martyr Ghanipour and said: “Unfortunately a movement started since before Islamic Revolution which is rooted in that era. And it was the fact that many of open mind people, who could write, wrote their works inspired by pessimist writers. And it has no effect in society except hopelessness. And many of young writers are still influenced by such writers and try to write works in those styles.”? Cultural Deputy of “Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance”? further added: “Look of many of the youth to life might not be black and hopeless; but they write in this style in order to be accepted by some particular kinds of people. And this negligence causes a part of our literature, which can cause changes, remains in that particular black and hopeless look to life and does not improve.”? The writers who write for people and God’s satisfaction might advise mentioned writer to make effort for showing the reality; because it is unpleasant and bothering that some of our writer, whose books are a lot, didn’t write anything about self sacrifice of our brothers in Islamic Revolution and sacred defense, Parviz said. What I mean is a precise and artistic look to the beautiful events which occurred during Islamic Revolution and sacred defense and following periods which resulted in scientific progresses in society. And my question is why some people shouldn’t see these events. And why do they think they should write in a dark atmosphere. Writing in a dark atmosphere is favorable for our enemies, he added. He further emphasized: “This situation is not favorable for us. We should write in a way that our children are hopeful about the future. And I really become upset when I see some people ignore these points. And I don’t know what the solution is for this problem.”? The other part of our literature is just repeated and neglected from artistic elements. There is no doubt that our major policies are effective in tendency of writers to writing or translation. Effective policies were adopted during 1360s (1980s). And these policies increased attention to writing; but the atmosphere of translation from one side is highly prevalent at the present time. And if we feel upset is due to the fact that we do not see it suitable for Islamic Republic of Iran, Parviz mentioned. We do not deny the efforts of translators who transfer culture of the world and make writers of the day known for us. Our minimum effort in “Cultural Deputy”? of “Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance”? is to arrange special programs for 30th anniversary of victory of Islamic Revolution. It is while there are not many stories written in the field of Islamic Revolution. And I believe that they are not enough at all, he said. In conclusion, Parviz called everyone for being active in the section of Islamic Revolution literature. He said: “I invite everyone, who is active in any field including poetry and story or collecting memories, make efforts in order that we can show a part of people’s self sacrifice during revolution for the 30th anniversary of victory of Islamic Revolution.”? It should be mentioned that closing ceremony of “7th Festival of Martyr Habib Ghanipour Book of the Year”? was held in hall of “Hozeh Honari”? on Sunday evening. Selected works in two sections of teenagers and adults were introduced in this ceremony.
