Since the enemy had a deep hatred of Islam, for different reasons they would try and torture the Iranian captives. Among the soldiers one who had ran cruelty to its limit would look for a captive who had sat in the shade and with lashes from his cable he would make them sit in the sun; for this reason he had been known as the "sunpraiser".
