Stamps of Former Friday Prayer Leader of Abadan Were Shown to Public within a Ceremony

According to the reporter of Navideshahed; Asadollah Sarrafzadegan, Secretariat of Seminar on Honoring Former Imam Jom’eh of Abadan attended this ceremony and delivered speech. He referred to resistance of Haj Mr.Jami who continued holding public Friday prayers in the surrounded city of Abadan when Saddam aggressive forces had attacked our country. He said: “Despite being old, this fighter clergyman stayed with Islam combatants and held public Friday prayers beside resistant people of the city and combatants with determination. He was the relying point for people who defended the city who was admired by Imam Khomeini.”? Before Islamic Revolution, he was also considered as a strong stronghold in line of Imam Khomeini and Muslim revolutionary people. He brought glory for Abadan people and is the example of resistance of Abadan, he added. He further expressed gratitude to officials of “Martyr Foundation and Isargaran Affairs”? of the country which contributed holding the seminar of Hojat-ol-Islam Jami in Abadan City. He continued: “In line with honoring this old Basiji person, two memorial ceremonies have been held in Tehran and Abadan.”? Head of “Cultural Center of Sacred Defense of Khorramshahr”? also attended this ceremony and honored the role of Haj Mr Jami in the epic of sacred defense. He said: “The stand special for Hojat-ol-Islam Jami will be opened in “Cultural Center of Sacred Defense of Khorramshahr”? in the near future.”?
