Syrian Army Regains Control of Strategic Aleppo Areas

Navideshahed- Units of the Syrian armed forces took control of several areas in Aleppo countryside after killing scores of militants and destroying their hideouts and gatherings.

The army clashed with militants in the areas surrounding Aleppo Central Prison, the Industrial City of al-Sheikh Najar, the villages of Mare’, Mayer, al-Zarzour and Baideen in Aleppo countryside and pushed the militants out of those areas.
The Syrian army killed dozens of rebels and injured others in Hanano residential compound, and the neighborhoods of al-Haydariyeh, al-Jandoul, Karm al-Jazmati, Bustan al-Qaser, al-Sheikh Said and Bani Zaid in Aleppo city.
The massive and fierce attack by the army has made the armed rebels ask for help from other militant groups.
Also in the last 24 hours, the Syrian army repelled the militants’ attacks on Al-Moriayeh town in Deir Ezzur in Eastern Syria and killed a number of armed rebels, including a British and an Egyptian militant, in heavy clashes.
Along the borders, the Iraqi army clashed with the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) and killed a large number of the Al-Qaeda terrorists.
Elsewhere in Damascus countryside, the Syrian army foiled an attack by the armed rebels who sought to capture Khan al-Sheikh district.
The British government also announced that it would annul the citizenship of its nationals who have gone for war to Syria.
