In an exclusive interview with NavideShahed reporter, Jalil Safari said: “documentary and briefed biographies of 25,330 martyrs of Grand Tehran will become ready to be published in few months.”? The information regarding 15,000 of the martyrs has been collected by now, Safari added. The information which is collected in this encyclopedia is precise, scientific and up-to-date. And it is compiled conforming to standards of writing encyclopedias, he said. According to him, the most important information which is noticeable in this encyclopedia includes the report regarding origin of martyrs as far as economic and social situation is concerned, how and where they were martyred, the part of body injury which resulted in martyrdom, military grades, education, special specialty and the status of being military or non- military. As for major sources to obtain information and using in Encyclopedia of Names of Martyrs, General Director of Studies and Research Office of “Martyr Foundation and Isargaran Affairs”? said: “The information is collected from martyrs’ families, their companions in battle fields and the existing files in “Martyr Foundation and Isargaran Affairs”?.”? In conclusion, Safari said: “Encyclopedia of Names of Martyrs of Islamic Revolution and sacred Defense in Kordestan, Boushehr, Hormozgan, Semnan and Golestan provinces will be also ready to be published by March 2008. Shahed Publication has released Encyclopedia of Names of Martyrs of Kermanshah Province as the first volume of these series of encyclopedia.
