Wedding
Martyr Mohammad Ali Namaki had a great humility. He was connected to the great, and we didn't t know what he did. After his martyrdom, we found out that he supervised more than 500 harbors all over big Tehran, one of which is called by the martyr's name. Only 3 boys were remaining for our father, the martyr was the third one. At the beginning of 1986, that I had finished my military service for four or five years, my family insists me to get married. But I refused because I didn't have a stable job, and enough money for wedding, & I got a loan for grommet, and agriculture (which I lost it because of drought). My family knew all these, but they said: “God is mercy & we promise to help you.
”? Of course they did not want to give me a gratuitous, but they wanted give the money as interest free. After we got the positive answer from the girl’s family, we invited near relatives to Gorgonian the ceremony was held. We were supposed to go shopping for wedding tomorrow. I said every one: now any one who wants to help, it is the time. Each of them presented an excuse & some of them had so flagrant reason that I shamed to say.
In such condition, that I was so disappointed, I wish I weren't accept to hang their rotten rope. In that hard condition, a torchbearer came to help me. It wasn't any one but martyr Mohammad Ali Namaki. Mohammad Ali was the student of "martyr Mohammad Montazeri" university of Mashad at that time & he hadn't any income. But he asked: can you provide tomorrow's shopping yourself? Till I go & return from Shahrood? I said, yes. He went to Shahrood, and when he returned, he brought a considerable amount of money for me.
A few days after wedding I became so curios to find out from whom he borrow this much money? And I find out that he had a lot of altruism. He sold two new carpets, which were his mere asset in his life, to provide that money. I promised myself to compensate as it deserve him, if God willing, but it seemed that I hadn't deserve that & I should bring this desire with me till end of my life. I promise God to follow his altruism in my stingy life.
