My brother "Ghasem" was studying in the 2nd year of high school when he insisted to join to the Revolutionary Guards. But how could he convince our family? He was a single child and our only hope.
My father said to him:”? you stay; both study your lessons and take care of your mother and sisters because I want to go to the front.
Talking between father and son for going to the war fronts was wonderful. They both wished martyrdom, for overtaking and passing of each other, and snatching the sphere of love and divine affinity, each of them tended to satisfy the other one to go to the war front. The talks were inclusive, so that we were informed that Haji Mossavee, Imam Jome has come to one of our neighbor’s house to review religious affairs.
My father and Ghasem went to him to solve their problems. They discussed and Ghasem’s firm talks convinced Haji because he was single and was not responsible for anybody, on the other hand, he couldn’t manage the family as well as his father. Finally, it was agreed that Ghasem goes and his father stays. When our son’s neighbor realized that Ghasem (a single one) was allowed to go, went to his father sadly. He tended to obtain permission to go. Haji- Davood’s father said: “after signing the letter of satisfaction, I was inspired that I have signed my son’s pass.”? Ghasem and Davood set out together as always and everywhere with each other. In the Raghabiyeh area they were together for a along time. Davood suffered martyrdom during the operations.
Ghasem said: while he was suffering martyrdom, Davood’s head laid on my keens and I was looking at the moments of his lovely ascension, then I laid his lifeless body on the ground and took my weapon and kept on advancing as he had asked me to do. But some hours later, Ghasem was wounded and returned to Garmsar with a body full of splinters. Ghasem was dispatched to the Zeid base on duty for the last time, third times, as his existence was full of love to martyrdom and to please God. We all were anxious because of wounds and splinters, which were still in his body. But he said goodbye and went, while promising to keep being treated in Ahvaz hospital. He seemed to be inspired that he will suffer martyrdom this time. So, he recorded all these events and we were informed about this tape, when Ghasem was martyred.
