Visitors of Shahed Cultural Information Base Passed 1 Million
TEHRAN, (SCIB) - Number of visitors of the website of Shahed Cultural Information Base passed 1 million people during the last year till now, said Abbas Khamehyar, Deputy Head of “Martyr Foundation and Isargaran Affairs”? for Research and Cultural Relations Department to the reporter of Navideshahed.
According to the report, he added: “Approximately 40% of visitors are from foreign countries. USA, China, Holland, Italy, Germany, Canada, UK, Denmark and Greece are respectively major visitors of this internet site. Navideshahed website includes diversified subjects such as news of cultural events in the field of isar (Self sacrifice) and martyrdom, specialized library, memories, film, audio, researches, magazines, introduction of CDs, articles, theses, interviews and reports.”? Shahed Cultural Information Base is now active in three languages of Persian, Arabic and English. And approximately 5000 people visit the site everyday, Abbas Khamehyar concluded. It should be mentioned that Shahed Cultural Information Base was launched on June 28th 2005. it aims at reflecting all events regarding the field of isar and martyrdom in all parts of Iran and other countries. It is also an information bank for cultural, art, literary and documentary of isar and martyrdom. This internet site currently continues its cultural activities with over 50000 pages of texts, 6000 minutes of audio and over 4700 photos.
