Two brothers
My brother, Mohammad Reza, was the employee of Shahrood University. He attended various operations several times. He was a RPG gunner in the Badr Operations in 1984. My brother, Hamid who was fifteen years old, was insisting to be behind the RPG gunner, but Hamid didn’t allow him. He was forced to attend the operations as a sharp shooter. Mohammad Reza’s right hand was shot directly. His RPG fell on the ground. His eyes were smarted due to bleeding. But he didn’t like to send out. He asked his friend to dress his hand with the CHAFIEH (famous spotted scarf used by fighters). He set fire to several tanks although he was wounded. After a while, his left hand was wounded by a Kalashnikov bullet too. He asked fighters to bind his undershirt on his left hand.
The fighters, who were seeing his resistance, were reinforced and attacked the enemies, but they asked Mohammad Reza to withdraw. He didn’t accept again. Near the Dejleh Bridge, his leg has been wounded and his boots were full of blood. One of the fighters put him on his shoulder and brought him back the front line. He asked about his brother there. He was informed that his brother is in good state. But, some minutes later Hamid was passed, as he had been laid on the stretcher. Mohammad Reza saw this scene and recognized him with his tall hands that had been hung. He went towards the stretcher, and pulled over his head and saw his brother’s corpse. Mohammed Reza went to the front again after passing off Hamid’s ceremonies.
He was lost in the operation 22. At last, his holy body was buried in the martyr’s grave in 1997.
