Commemoration committees mobilized

TEHRAN, (SCIB) - Committees to commemorate the martyrs of 7th of Tir (June 28) are mobilized across the country.

As the anniversary of the martyrdom of Ayatollah Dr. Beheshti and 72 of the closest and most loyal allies of the Islamic Revolution is approaching, committees to commemorate these martyrs started its work. The central committee is discussing the organization of the event with its sub committees in other provinces and towns. Regular weekly meetings have been held in the headquarters of the Islamic propaganda council since the beginning of the current year to plan and organize the event. Several authorities and thinkers especially injured war veterans and other veterans have attended these meetings. The commemoration ceremony is to take place June 26, 27 and 28 at the former headquarters of the Islamic Republican Party located on Sarcheshmeh crossroads. The ceremony involve a visit by the families of the dear martyrs of 28 June 1981 to the country’s top authorities and the heads of the country’s judiciary, executive and military legislative powers. The event will also embrace discussions on the dimensions of the event, as well as it consequences for the next generations
