Imam Khomeini pictures on display in Khoramshahr
TEHRAN, (SCIB) - On the anniversary of the sad demise of the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Imam Khumeini, art works depicting different stages of his life were displayed in Khoramashahr.
The displayed collection includes 22 pictures of the late Imam that have been used on postal stamps in the past 18 years. Ten of the pictures depict the life and political activities of Imam Khomeini, with sketches of Imam during the uprising of June 5th, 1963, his exile, his return to Iran, martyrdom of his friends and Jamaran Hosseinieh. There are also shots of Imam while praying and writing poetry.
