Cultural Deputy of Armed Forces Said: People of the World Were Surprised with Freeing Khoramshahr
TEHRAN, (SCIB) - Commander Brigadier General Ali-Reza Afshar, Deputy Head of Cultural Affairs and Defending Promotions Headquarters of Armed Forces said at a meeting with the personnel of Air Force Headquarters of “The Army of the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution”? at Fatematozzahra Hosseinieh: “No one in the world believed that such a great victory was achieved and Khoramshahr was freed.
Everyone was surprised at that time. Thank God we could free Khoramshahr because of relying on God, obeying Imam Khomeini sayings and also isar and martyrdom willingness morale. And it was a turning point in the imposed war.”? Referring to the psychological war of USA against Iran, Ali-Reza Afshar said: “It was an ordinary act that American warships passed through Hormoz Strait on international marine path. But USA called it a preservation operation of Hormoz Strait. It actually aimed at psychological effects of the action. As a matter of fact it was not a worthy military action.”?
