Poetry conference to open in Khoramshahr on liberation anniversary

TEHRAN, (SCIB) - A poetry and memoir conference will be held in Khoramshahr’s Nakhl cinema on the anniversary of the city’s liberation. “Renowned poets such as Parviz Beigi, Habib Abadi, Parvaneh Nejati and Gholamreza Kaafi will attend the conference together with Khuzestan’s local poets and army generals, especially those who were present in Beitolmoghadas operation that liberated Khoramshahr.”? Head of the literary section of the foundation of preservation of holy defense values told our reporter. The conference will meet in the afternoon of May 23, Zahrati added. A selection of poems and memories recited in this festival will subsequently be published in a selection by the literary section of Khoozestan’s foundation of preservation of holy defense heritage. Several other interesting events are also planned for the anniversary of the liberation of the southern Iranian city of Khoramshahr.
