Marhamat Balazadeh was one of the 13-year-old students from Ardebil who urged so much to go to the battlefields of Iran-Iraq war. Since he was too young and he had a short height, the authorities would not allow him to go to the battlefields.
Marhamat got disappointed and he returned to Tehran city and after asking many questions, he entered the presidential building.
Eventually after waiting for many hours, he succeeded to meet Ayatollah Khamenei, the former president of Iran. He cried so much and he absorbed the attention of Ayatollah Khamenei and he agreed to meet Balazadeh.
He was crying in tears and he talked in Azari language. He asked Khamenei to tell the eulogizers and clergies not to express sermons for Imam Ghasem (AS); because the commander of Ardebli Corps does not allow him to enter the battlefields of Iran-Iraq war.
Marhamat Balazadeh was able to achieve his ambition by the demand of Ayatollah Khamenei and he went to the battlefields of Iran-Iraq war. Eventually he was martyred on March 11, 1985.
