Tehran’s Interim Friday Prayers Imam Raps US Anti-Islam Movie

Navideshahed: Tehran's interim Friday Prayers leader has condemned the anti-Islam film made in the US, saying efforts to impede the spread of Islam will fail as history is changing to the benefit of the divine religion.

Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati described the movie as the “most shameless insult to Islam,”? but reiterated that “such blasphemous acts will backfire as the history today is changing to the benefit of Islam.”?
The Iranian cleric added that those behind production of the film seek to prevent the spread of Islamic Awakening and propagation of the realities of Islam in the world, adding that their plots will fail as Muslims across the world are ready to sacrifice their lives to defend Islamic sanctities.

The Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday that the blasphemous movie has been produced by anti-Islam Israeli-American Sam Bacile.

The report added that, Bacile, a real estate developer, has assumed responsibility for the film, which he said was made thanks to Jewish donations totaling USD 5 million.

The anti-Islam movie has sparked outrage across the Muslim world.

Iranians along with other Muslims across the world held nationwide rallies on Friday to express their outrage over the sacrilegious film.

Protesters took to the streets in the Iranian capital, Tehran, after the Friday Prayers in protest to the blasphemous movie, calling for the punishment of the agents behind the sacrilegious act.
