More than 600 representatives from 11 countries, including Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Tunisia are attending the two-day conference, which kicked off on Wednesday.

Ali Akbar Velayati, a senior advisor to Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, told Press TV on Wednesday that the conference would focus on the Palestinian cause.
