Hamas:

We won’t Allow any More Tampering with the Aqsa Mosque

Navideshahed: Hamas said in a press release on Tuesday on the 43rd anniversary of the burning of the Aqsa mosque that it won’t allow any tampering with the holy mosque.

It said that the mosque would remain the first Muslim Qibla and the third holiest shrine in Islam, and that all Judaization efforts and attempts to forge the history of the holy city of Jerusalem would fail.

Hamas said that Arab and Islamic identity of Jerusalem and the Aqsa mosque would remain forever, adding that it would sacrifice all for the sake of defending the holy site.

Hamas asked the Arab and Islamic masses along with the free people of the world to continue to support the Palestinian people and their steadfastness and to defend the Islamic and Christian holy shrines.

For its part, the popular resistance committees in Gaza issued a statement on the same occasion warning that any tampering with the Aqsa mosque would entail destruction on the “Zionist entity”?.

It said in a statement on Tuesday that the “Zionist enemy”? was encouraged by Arab and Muslim silence to commit more crimes against the Aqsa mosque.
