War Zone visitors to transcribe Quran

TEHRAN, (SCIB) - Concurrent with the Persian New Year, the transcription of Quran began in the exhibition of the 8th Army of Najaf Ashraf. War zone visitors will participate in this cultural event by transcribing one ayah each. 13000 visitors have so far finished the transcription of 9 juzes(sections) of the Quran. This symbolic scheme will continue until the end of Nowrooz when the whole Quran is transcribed by the visitors. This scheme is part of a plan to encourage war zone visitors to create artistic work and familiarize themselves with Quranic sciences through teamwork In addition, an exhibition titled “Resistance of the people of Abadan”? is currently being held in Abadan. The exhibition displays the activities of the Governor’s office, Sepah, The police, ministry of Education, the ministry of Agriculture and Abadan refinery during the years of the Holy Defense. More than 1000 books about the Holy Defense are also on display in this exhibition. The exhibition also contains a maquette of the Moghavemat (resistance) bridge and people’s defense of Zolfaghari neighborhood. The exhibition is visited by approximately 100000 people everyday.
