Iranian Activists:

Countdown for Freedom of Quds has Started

Navideshahed: Iranian activists in a statement on Sunday condemned the occupation of the Palestinian lands by the Israeli regime, and stressed that the countdown to the freedom of Islamic territories has started.

"Countdown for the freedom of all Islamic territories, specially the first Muslim Kiblah (holy Qods) and the second Kiblah (Mecca) from the claws of the usurpers has started," the Community for Supporting Freedom of Holy Qods said in a statement.

The statement said that the recent developments herald the spread of Islamic Awakening in the Middle-East, isolation of enemies and progress of Islamic movement in the region.

The statement was issued on the occasion of the International Qods Day.

The last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan is dubbed as 'the international Qods Day' during which worldwide Muslims stage demonstrations to voice their strong protest and outrage at the occupying regime of Israel.

The International Qods Day was started by the late Founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini, as a way of expressing solidarity with the Palestinians and underscoring importance of Qods to Muslims.
