Haddad Adil:

Muslims have Realized they don't Need US Aids

Navideshahed: IRI has helped the world Muslims to realize that they can afford to advance without the US and that Muslims must counter with the western hegemony, Haddad Adil, a senior assistant to Islamic Revolution Leader Ayatollah Khamenei, said in the Islamic Awakening confab.

Qolam-Ali Haddad Adil was speaking to the conference reviewed the theory of Islamic Awakening movement in views of the late founder of Islamic Republic of Iran, Imam Khomeini and the serving Islamic Revolution Leader, staged in Tehran Sunday.

He said the west has pronounced 'religious government' a thing of past since four hundreds years ago however Imam Khomeini revived the notion and established a convincingly functioning religious government.

The Iranian Islamic government in the past 33 years proved effective and few individuals out there may think others, Mr. Adil said, adding that the emergence of various Islamic movements across the world of Islam further substantiates the argument that Muslim populations are growingly believe in the functionality of Islam and Koran as sources of government.

"Rather than being a mere collection of spiritual traditions, Islam offers programs and ideas both for the inner, individual world and the outside world," the senior aide said.

Mr. Adil proposed a book be authored on the status of Muslim world in the twentieth century with a focus on the role of the 1979 Islamic Revolution in pushing the world arrogance to failure.

The conference started on Sunday morning and will have there panel discussions, titled 'new Islamic civilization,' 'recent developments in Muslim countries' and 'Islamic movements prior to 1979 Islamic Revolution.'
