Bahraini Female Protesters Attacked with Toxic Gas; the Opposition Trial Started in al-Khalifa Courts

Navideshahed: Bahrain's security forces suppressed Bahraini women's protests who had requested the release of political detainees by weapons and toxic gas.

According to Fars News Agency quoting Bahraini Media, the Bahraini women made a protest titled ‘The bonds should be broken’ following the revolution of people, but the security forces deployed poisonous gases and pellet guns and they injured many of them.

Meanwhile, Bahraini citizens took sanctuary in front of the house, Nabil Rajab, the chief of Bahrain Center for Human Rights who had been detained a few days ago after returning from Beirut in Manama airport by the security forces.

The protestors emphasized that enacting the emergency situation in the country has no benefit for the Al Khalifa’s regime.

While today the Bahrain’s regime starts trialing the outstanding characters of Bahrain Political Movement titled ‘Group 21’.

The action takes place in the wake of the Court of Appeals which violated the verdicts issued against them on 30th of April, 2012 and it ordered to trial them once again.

At the same time the Bahraini opposition groups asked the people to sit in front of the court today Tuesday.

February 14th Coalition also calls on holding huge protests in all the cities and villages in order to show their opposition to oppressive trialing of these prisoners.

February 14th Coalition also aims to continue holding protests calling for solidarity of the people with Nabil Rajab, Abdol Hadi Al-Khajeh who are the two prominent opposition figures.

Abdol Haid Khajeh who had gone on hunger strike since two months ago in order to show his criticism to the detention of himself and suppression of Bahraini people in the prisons of this regime has a critical health condition.

This coalition called on women to show their solidarity with Ibrahim Sharif, Secretary General of the Coalition.

Since more than one year go Bahrain witnessed a huge revolution against the Al Khalifa regime which was followed with the suppression of this regime along with the assistance of Saudi forces. During these protests hundreds of persons have been killed and injured as well.
