Media Play Key Role in Promoting Hijab, Chastity

Navideshahed: The Head of Ahlul Bayt (A.S) World Assembly underscored the importance of Hejab and chastity culture in Iran.

Speaking in Dokhtarane Aftab (Daughters of Sun) Seminar on Sunday May 5, Hojjatol Islam Mohammad Hassan Akhtari, head of Ahlul Bayt (A.S) World Assembly, underscored the necessity of Hijab and the spread of its culture in the society, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

“Iran officials should do their best to disseminate the culture of Hijab in the society and just talking about the issue is not adequate,”? said the Islamic scholar.

Hojjatol Islam Akhtari spotlighted the key role of media in internalizing such aforementioned culture and said,”? The Media has the most important role in this realm and they are expected to spread the Islamic values in the society and do their duty.”?

“Officials should be more careful about the movies they show in our national TV and the issue of Hijab and its importance should not be fallen on deaf ears,”? said Hojjatol Islam Akhtari.

“Each of us, especially governmental officials, has some duties regarding this issue and it is incumbent upon us to abide by the Islamic rules and regulation,”? head of Ahlul Bayt (A.S) World Assembly underscored.
