Resistance Book Fair, a Step toward Islamic Awakening

Navideshahed: The First International Resistance Book Fair opened this afternoon, May 2, on the sidelines of Tehran International Book Fair with the attendance of Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Naqdi.

"The First International Resistance Book Fair, which is held with the participation of publishers from Lebanon, Syria and other Arabic countries, is a step towards the Islamic Awakening which has been taken by the Islamic Republic," he said in an interview with IBNA's correspondent.

"The fair will make Iranian publishers, which are active in the field of Islamic Resistance, to communicate with foreign publishers. Unfortunately the literature of Islamic Awakening isn’t written yet," he added.

He went on to say that the International Resistance Book Fair should take firm steps to find its place in the field of books and the world.

He finally said that hopefully the field's books will be translated into English and Arabic.
