Funeral Held for Propagandist Martyr in Zeynabiye, Damascus

Navideshahed: Chanting Heyhat Minna Zilla (meaning no tolerance for oppression) chants, the people of Zeynabiye District, suburban Damascus, held a funeral procession for the martyr cleric and Shia propagandist, Seyed Mohammad Nasser Alavi, Saturday evening.

According to Navideshahed quoting the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), during this event that thousands of people, religious characters from clerics offices and religious seminaries, the diplomats of some foreign countries living in Syria were present, the funeral procession was held and the attendees chanted the motto “Here am I Hussein’ and ‘Here am I Zeinab’.

Martyr Alavi was a 36-year-old cleric and propagandist and the public prayer of Zeinabiyeh seminary. He was martyred on Friday night by the hands of two terrorist gunmen who shot him dead near his house.

One of the services of this martyr was presenting help and assistance to the poor families. He also helped those refugees of Hams neighborhood who had lost their houses.
