Supreme Leader Meets with Police Commanders, Personnel
Navideshahed: In a meeting with police officers and personnel on Sunday, Ayatollah Khamenei the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution described Iranian police personnel as the soldiers of the Islamic Republic and said that security is one of the most essential needs that prepares the ground for organized planning. He stressed: "If a society lacks security, there will be no guarantee that any organized action will be taken for the progress and betterment of that society."
His Eminence stated that if government officials can bring about peace and security for the people, Allah the Exalted will definitely be satisfied with them.
The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution stressed the need for planning that is based on communal wisdom and added that peace and security are a requirement for achieving national progress and for implementing plans.
His Eminence said that both individuals and organizations are vulnerable, further adding: "Just as individuals might be psychologically or spiritually vulnerable, so organizations are vulnerable to corruption and harm. Therefore, it is always necessary to take the necessary precautions in a wise and careful way."
Ayatollah Khamenei said that paying attention to honesty and piety, carrying out one's organizational duties and preferring social interests to personal interests prepare the ground for the betterment and progress of a country. He reiterated: "If there are people in a society who make efforts with this spirit, that society will definitely reach the peak. Such a society will definitely achieve power and permanence."
