8 More Shiites Murdered in Quetta

Navideshahed: At least 8 Shiites were murdered by Nasabi terrorists in Quetta today.

Six Shiites were on their way from Hazara Town to Alamdar Road in a yellow cab tax when they were targeted near Wahdat Colony Brewery Road. Reports had it that they were got alighted out of taxi and then they were targeted by terrorists. They were seriously injured and succumbed to injuries on way to hospital.

Another incident of terrorism occurred at Sabzal Road Quetta where at least two Shia Muslims were killed and many others were injured due to firing. Their bodies were taken to hospital for post mortem.

It is relevant to add here that Balochistan Shia Conference, Hazara Democratic Party and other parties and groups had called for a shutdown strike in Quetta on Saturday.
People got enraged owing to the target killings of 8 Shia Muslims and they came to streets to lodge their protest.

Tension prevailed the areas of Brewery Road, Hazara Town, Kerani Road and Alamdar Road.

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen chief Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri and other office bearers condemned the genocide of Shia Muslims in Quetta. They demanded that the killers must be arrested forthwith and they must be hanged publicly. They said that government and its agencies completely failed in protecting the lives and properties of citizens of Pakistan.
