Qom to Host Interfaith Dialogue

Navideshahed: The fifth round of interfaith dialogue is to be held between Muslim and Christian Catholic elites in the Iranian city of Qom.

A new round of talks between Iranian Muslims and Pilipino Christians will be held by the center for interfaith dialogue in the Organization of Culture and Islamic Communications and Cultural Council of Iranian embassy in Philippine, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Catholic Bishops conference as the Filipino side is the most important decision making authority in the field of religions and faiths.

These talks aim at advancing solidarity between elites from both countries, promoting the culture of religiousness for a better world, analyzing the inconveniences and opportunities facing religions and mutual understanding of regional cultures as well as stabilizing the status of religious minorities.

This is while Philippine hosted the previous round of talks with the same focus.
