Senior Cleric Condemns Recent Shiites Massacre in Pakistan

Navideshahed: Iranian top jurisprudent condemned Wahabbi terrorists for recent assassination of Shia Muslims in Pakistan demanding Islamabad to provide the security of citizens.

Grand Ayatollah Nasser Makarem Shirazi, Iranian senior cleric and professor at Qom Seminary denounced the killing of Pakistani Shia Muslims urging international bodies to react against the heinous act, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

In the weekly teaching course held by this Shia cleric, he referred to other cases of similar crimes in Pakistan urging Muslim scholars around the world to find a solution for the problem of Wahhabism.

He denounced Wahhabism as the origin for such crimes and added, "Wahhabism is a problem and an ill reputation for the Muslim world."

Top cleric criticized Pakistani government for shortcomings in providing security of the citizens.

"When one single person among them is killed they would shout it out in the media, then how is it that a bus full of people are targeted and killed and no one reacts to that?" said the cleric blaming world bodies over their silence regarding the incident.
