Mourning Procession Held for Lady Fatima at Imam Hussein, al-Abbas Shrines
Navideshahed: A mourning procession of the holy shrines of Imam Hussain and Hadhrat Abbas released on Thursday 13 Jumada I 1433 – Apr. 5, 2012 in the anniversary of the martyrdom of Lady Fatimah AS.
The procession started from Al Abbas Holy Shrine, crossing the area between the two holy shrines to end in the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein AS. Then a procession started from the holy shrine of Imam Hussein AS to end in Al Abbas holy shrine.
Mourners hold many black banner to show grief.
The procession headed by sheiks and heads of departments in the two holy shrines.
It is mentioned that the holy shrines in Karbala launches mourning processions in the occasion of the demise and birth anniversaries of the Ahlulbayt AS.
