Imam Ali Letters to be Translated into 12 Languages

Navideshahed: Iranian cleric praised the letter of Imam Ali (AS) to his governor saying the letter will be translated into 12 languages including Swahili, English, French, Portuguese, German and Swedish.

Praising the letter of Imam Ali (AS) to his governor, an Iranian cleric said the letter will be translated into 12 languages including Swahili, English, French, Portuguese, German and Swedish.

Hujjat-ol-Islam Bahman Akbari, an official in the Organization of Culture and Islamic Relations said the translation of the letter by Imam Ali (AS), first Shia Imam to his governor, Malik Ashtar into Russian, Italian and Malay is finished announcing the translation of some more Islamic texts.

According to the head of the center for translations and publications Sahifa Sadjadiya, History of Islam, letter by Allameh Mohammadreza Jafari to former Cban leader, Fidel Castro and an Analysis of Iran's Constitution by grand Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri are other works to be translated into different languages.

A valuable effort for this center is compilation, publication and translation of the remarks by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in Islamic Awakening Conference.

Hujjat-ol-Islam Bahman Akbari said, " Launching Islamica Library, translation of the books into 34 languages, provifing PDF version of the books in this library, formation of canons based on culture of languages and also holding conferences on the policies of the center are among other activities of this center."

He said in line with educating translators, the second course of translation was held for non Iranian translators from Egypt, Russia, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Georgia, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Syria and Lebanon.

A major center in compilation and translation of Islamic texts, during the past year, this organization has also held two conferences for policymaking and organizing the central sites besides updating Russian, English, Azeri Turkish, Latin and Arabic languages.
