Islamic Books Exhibition Held at Brazil

Navideshahed: The Islamic books were displayed for the first time at Shiites Islamic School of Sao Paolo city in Brazil last week.

The exhibition was opened with the presence of Sheikh Hesan Borji, imam of Mohammad Rasulollah Mosque of the city, Sheikh Rodrigo Jalul, Brazilian preacher and a number of citizens.

Speaking at the opening program of the exhibition, Seyyed Belal Jom’eh, head of the Shia Muslims Society of the city said that: “The first edition of the exhibition was highly welcomed and we plan to stage it yearly.”?

Sheikh Jalul also regarded the exhibition as an important event in Brazil that will promote the culture of book reading among the Brazilian people.

Teachers of the center then stressed the importance of reading book and noted that it is through studying that human being can achieve great success in life.

Performing theaters and choral song by students of the school were among the programs held on the side line of the exhibition.

The school is the only official Shia school in Brazil which is actively involved in Islamic and religious programs.
