Greek Civilian Converts to Islam
Navideshahed: George Sialoub a Greek civilian with his attendance at Iranian cultural office in Athena converted to the holy religion of Islam and selected Shia as his religion.
According to the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO) Public Relations, Mohammad Reza Pakravan Iranian Cultural attaché in Athena at the beginning of this ceremony noting to the achievements of Islam for human being said the holy religion of Islam came to guide people around the world.
Mr. George Sialoub After having a discussion about Islam with Pakravan and answering the questions accepted Islam and Shia as his religion and selected the name of "Yusuf" as his new name.
At the end of this event Iranian Cultural office gifted a holy Quran and some religious books to Greek and English languages to Yusuf. With the aim of getting more familiar with the life and biography of prophet Yusuf, the Iranian Cultural office also presented a DVD collection of "Prophet Yusuf" serial to Yusuf and he warmly welcomed it.
