"The Political Social Role of Women in the History of Islam" Published

Navideshahed: Zamzam Hedayat Publications has published a book on the social and political role of women in the history of Islam, the Islamic Revolution and Imam Mahdis Revolution.

Zamzam Hedayat is an affiliate to the Islamic Research Center. It has published the book as a review of womens role in creating some of the most important events of Islam in history, IBNA reported.

Authored in 9 chapters, the book includes topics like Islams political system, women and Islamic pledges, women and migrations in Islam, women and jihad in Islam, womens support of the prophethood and Imamat, and womens role in Hazrat Mahdis global revolution.

The book brings historical examples and stories about the role of women in many Islamic events to remind readers of the greatness of womens role in the history of Islam, the last divine religion.

"Imam Mahdi (the 12th Shia imam) enjoys company of 313 of his best flowers of which 50 are women. The companions join their imam as he emerges," reads a part of the book.

As many as 2000 copies of the book are published by Zamzam Hedayat in the Iranian market.
