Iran, Symbol of Resilience for All World

Jamat-e-Islami Chief, Syed Munawar Hassan said that Iran is the only Muslim country that is not yielding to western pressure.

He said it is very unfortunate that leaders of majority of Muslim countries are not performing their due roles as defined in Holy Quran.

The religious leader went on to say that there are monarchs or western backed democracies in the Islamic world. “The leaders of Muslim world are not concerned of what the Quran has said,”? he regretted.

“Iran is the only Muslim country that is practicing Islamic principles in true spirit,”? added Syed Munawar Hassan.

He was of the view that Iran has been playing a unique role for the betterment of Muslim Ummah, “Iran has become a symbol of resilience against western dominance,”? he noted.

To a question, Jamat-e-Islami chief said role of Iran has inspired many people in Muslim and non-Muslim countries. “Iran is not yielding to US hegemony that is trying to eliminate the whole Islamic world,”? said the religious leader.

“No doubt that Islamic Revolution of Iran has been source of inspiration for awakening movement in Islamic world,”? he said while answering a question.

Expressing his opinion, the JI leader said Islam was the prime source behind Arab movements. “Arab people want change in their political systems as par defined under Islam,”? he added.

Syed Munawar Hassan said that economies aided by the IMF or donor agencies have been failed to progress. “They have made people slaves to western powers,”? he opined.

He said Iran has defied the western dominance and today the Islamic Republic is progressing in all fields. “It is correct to say that sanctions have made Iran self sufficient,”? the JI chief added.

Syed Munawar Hassan strongly viewed that west cannot fight with the power of Iranian oil.

He said that western countries failed to stop Iran in achieving goals and they are taking wrong actions against Iran in frustration. “They are trapped in inferiority complex against Iran,”? he said.

Syed Munawar Hassan said western system of capitalism has failed and their economies are on the verge of collapse.
