
Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Hamed Alam-ol-Hoda, a deputy at the world Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought attending conference of Shia-Sunni scholars in Chabahar Port in the Persian Gulf called holding such conferences a blessing of the Islamic Revolution, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He referred to late Hassan Banna, as a founder of proximity framework and quoted the Muslim scholar urging Muslims to support each other in commonalities and tolerate each other in disagreements.
Shia cleric also referred to the activities of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought and divided the activities into activities in foreign countries, cultural activities as well as participating in local, regional and international academic gatherings.
A necessity in proximity communities, according to the cleric, is remove misunderstandings since that would end in mutual comprehension of Muslims.
In this conference, Molawi Abdul Rahman Mola Zehi, Sunni Friday Prayer Leader of Chabahar quoted Imam Ali (AS), first Shia Imam, according to which spreading sedition is an unforgivable crime because as far as Muslims unite around the axis of divinities, the enemies cannot defeat them.
Attended by several Shia and Sunni figures, this conference has been held by the Bureau of Islamic Promotion in Chabahar.
