Cleric Reaction to Iranian Oil Sanction:

The West is the Loser of the Game

Navideshahed: Shia jurisprudent, Ayatollah Noori Hamedani, referred to the recent anti-Iran sanctions imposed by the European countries counting the West to be the looser side while Iranian nation do not pay attention to that.

Ayatollah Hussein Noori Hamedani meeting with the participants of the International Islamic Awakening and Youths Conference praised the value of man for God and stressed governments have to respect people.

He referred to the letter of Imam Ali (AS), first Shia Imam, for Malik Ashtar, then governor of Egypt, which included guidelines on managing the society.

He said, "The government that sheds the blood of the people does not last long," adding, "Governments have to value the life of the people and guarantee their security."

Grand Iranian cleric also referred to the revolutions in the region and said, "The people in these countries have been dominated by the dictators who were themselves serving the interests of the US and that were why they were never in peace."

He underscored the importance of following Islamic Awakening and said, "For many centuries the people have lived under dominance of the arrogant powers but they all awakened after the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran led by late Imam Khomeini (RA).

"Certainly the dictators of "Al's" will topple," said the cleric and stressed, "Henchmen of the West and the US have to take lessons from the end of the dictatorship of Mubarak, Bin Ali and Salih and follow the demands of their nations."

He also referred to the sanctions imposed on Iran by the European Union, addressed the boycotting sides and said, "Iranian nation does not care the sanctions. Besides Iran's oil has its customers across the world and the result of this sanction is failure for you." adding that Iran has the power to block Hormuz Strait.
