The second aspect is the divine and spiritual dimensions of these youth and this is the factor which prepares the ground for their martyrdom."

His Eminence said the assassinated Iranian scientists were martyred in the way of God and added that their martyrdom prepares the ground for the progress of Islam. He stressed: "After the victory of the Islamic Revolution, one of the biggest allegations that the enemies would level against the Revolution was that the Revolution closed the door to science in Iran, but Iranian youth disproved this allegation by engaging in selfless struggle, mastering scientific fields and bringing their novel ideas and high capacities into the arena."

Ayatollah Khamenei also visited the family of Shahid Darioush Rezaeinejad. During the meeting, His Eminence stressed that the enemy's efforts to assassinate outstanding youth of the country shows the greatness of the work they are doing, further adding: "Today the progress of the Islamic Republic is a source of hope and encouragement for Muslim nations and the youth of Islamic countries."

Shahid Mostafa Ahmadi-Roshan and Shahid Darioush Rezaeinejad were two of the outstanding Iranian nuclear scientists who were assassinated by mercenaries affiliated with the arrogant powers.
