Palestine Remains Main Issue of Muslim World
Navideshahed: Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), Saeed Jalili, said on Monday that Palestine remains main issue of the world of Islam with campaign against the Zionist regime being a top priority.
Jalili told the Head of Turkey-Palestine Parliamentary Friendship Group, Murat Yildirim, that Islamic Awakening movement and regional developments have reversed the balance of power in favor of Muslim world.
He warned against plots by enemies of Muslims to overshadow new opportunities available to them.
He said Islamic Awakening should bolster resistance against the Zionist regime.
The SNSC top official noted that liberation of Palestine is the common cause of Muslim world, including Arabs, non-Arabs, Shiites and Sunnis.
All capacities made available by the Islamic Awakening movement should be mobilized for campaign against the Zionist regime and Washington's arrogant policies, said Jalili, adding that support for resistance and Palestine is the most important aspect of movements in the Muslim world.
The Turkish official highlighted importance of Iran’s ties with Turkey in the eyes of the Ankara government and nation, saying, "We will not allow foreigners to use Turkish facilities against the Islamic Republic of Iran.”?
