Prominent Shia Cleric, Imam Musa Sadr, Buried in a Farm in Tripoli

Navideshahed: Chairman of the Military Council in Tripoli, Abdel-Hakim Belhaj stated for TV channel "BBC Arabic", about credible information indicating that Imam Musa Sadr, is buried in a farm in the south of the Libyan capital Tripoli.

The correspondent of "BBC", Firas Kilani was preparing a report on a farm previously detained in and tortured by the forces of Colonel Muammar Gaddafi in March, while covering events in Libya. The "BBC" team was surprised by a special security unit that entered the place, with dogs and special equipment to detect graves.

"Outdated information had been received that the Imam al-Sadr was transfered to Sebha and then and buried in the castle. But new information indicates that he is in a farm". Belhaj added "We are following information and we want to get to the truth, and when we get it we will declare at the time."
