16 Movies Chosen for the War Documentaries Section of Cinema Verite Festival
Navideshahed: The list of the movie themes ‘War Documentary’ for the panel ‘National Match’ was announced and these movies can take part in the 5th International Festival of Cinema Verite.
According to Navideshahed quoting Public Relations of International Festival of Cinema Verite, the juries of the ‘War Documentary’ of the festival included Mohammad Masoom Zadegan, Mustafa Dalayee and Asghar Bakhtiyari. They reviewed more than 95 documentary movies relevant to the war. They selected 16 superior movies for the national match which will be held in Cinema Verite.
Based on this report, the documentary movies that have been chosen for the national match of the 5th International Festival of Cinema Verite are as follows:
1- From Blog to plaque (Mustafa Khosravi)
2- Divine children (Seyed Rohollah Husseini)
3- The Eyes (Mohsen Zarifi Pour)
4- Sour Cherry (Mohammad Ali Shaabani)
5- The everlasting day (Naser Noorani)
6- The 100-year-old soldiers (Amir Sadeghi)
7- The King of Face (Vahid Zareh Zadeh)
8- Love Hunters (Mohammad Habibi Mansour)
9- My Champion (Ali Khosravi)
10- Crossing (Behzad Vaziri)
11- Live Wave (Habib Ahmad Zadeh)
12- The letter of November 17, 1980 (Morteza Payeh Shenas)
13- Mark (Siyamak Kashef Azar, Majid Esmaeili)
14- Freedom point (Mohammad Habibi Mansour)
15- Hoor (Ahmad Feizi)
16- An uncompleted detection (Seyed Mohammad Mirkani)
The abovementioned movies were judged and reviewed by 9 juries separately. So the superior movies which have been selected for the National Match of Cinema Verite are about 9 different topics. The list of juries and committees that have selected the abovementioned movies will be published later.
The 5th International Festival of Iran’s Documentary movies will be held in Cinema Verite on November 07-13, 2011 in Tehran city.
