Ayatollah Khamenei said that denying the Islamic identity of the Iranian nation and isolating the Islamic Republic are the most important goal of the constant attacks by the camp of the arrogant powers. He added: "By leveling an absurd and meaningless allegation against a few Iranians, they tried to find a pretext to focus their propaganda and political attacks on Iran as the supporter of terrorism, but this conspiracy failed too and it will fail in the future as well. It will prove useless and ineffective just like the other measures they adopted. Contrary to what they think, this allegation will result in increased isolation for themselves."

He reiterated: "Two years ago the current American President resorted to flattery in Egypt in order to deceive public opinion in the region, but today in the same country and in other regional countries the people are shouting anti-American slogans."

Ayatollah Khamenei said that the US President is afraid of the regional nations and added: "This person did not get out of Bagram Airbase during his trip to Afghanistan, which has been occupied by American and NATO forces. He did not dare go to Kabul because he is isolated among the people of nations and he is afraid of them."

Addressing US officials, he stressed: "You are isolated even among your own people and you are afraid of the majority of your people, but then you try to promote Iranophobia through your futile statements."
