President Ahmadinejad:

Occupation of Palestine, Crime against Humanity

Navideshahed: "In their efforts to control the Middle East, West supported the presence of Israel in the region." said Iranian President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

President Ahmadinejad made the remarks in a speech at the closing ceremony of the fifth International Conference on Palestinian Intifada Sunday night in Tehran.

Denouncing the development as the most heinous historical crime, Ahmadinejad said that the occupation of Palestine was an issue of international concern and a crime against all humanity.

IRI President said the issue of Palestine is so important and complicated that if it is spoken about the occupation of Palestine and establishment of the fake Zionist regime for several months it would not be enough.
He raised the question that why is the Palestinian issue important and what are its dimensions?

“Is the Palestinian issue an Arab issue or a problem between the Arab nations on the one side and some Western countries on the other side?, or it is a problem between Arab nations on the one hand and some Jews who have occupied the Palestinian lands on the other,”? the President asked.

President Ahmadinejad also met with a number of the participants in the fifth International Conference on the Palestinian Intifada.

IRI President met with the Speakers of the Parliaments of Palestine, Indonesia, Qatar, Paraguay, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Sudan, Afghanistan, Zanzibar, Comoros, and a number of other senior officials, who had attended the event.

They discussed the latest regional developments, particularly issues concerning the Zionist-imposed Palestinian plight.

Delegates from 70 countries attended the two-day conference, which was held under the banner 'Palestine, Homeland of Palestinians.'

The international conference ended on Sunday night after the delegates issued a final statement that stressed the need for resistance in the face of the Zionist regime and its allies as the only means of creating a free Palestinian state.
