"Resistance and Islamic Awakening" Festival

According to a Navideshahed report, this festival has been planned to be held in two fields of photos and posters. The artists can send their works to the secretariat of this festival until Thursday, August 25, 2011 that is named as Qods day.

This festival aims to indicate the role of Islamic Revolution as the main inspiration for the nations, the models that seek freedom and Islamic resistance, the role of Islamic guardianship as the leader in Islamic awakening, presenting an image from the instances for national unity and religious insight and manifestations for justice seeking and power among different classes of society.

The first position of this festival will receive a festival statue, appreciation card and 4 quarter coin Bahar-e Azadi as rewards. The second position of this festival will receive a statue of festival, appreciation card and 3 quarter coin Bahar-e Azadi. And the third and fourth positions will receive statue of festival, an appreciation card along with 2 quarter coin Bahar-e Azadi.

In the section of photo, each participator can send at most 5 digital photos. The photos should be seen obviously and the size of 300 DPI. The owner of the photos should write his name and specifications inside the folder of photos completely.

As the secretariat of the festival announced, the posters should have a size of minimum 70 X 100 cm and maximum 100 X 120 cm and the quality should be 300 DPI. The posters should have a format of TIFF along with colorful printing in A4 size and then they should be sent to the festival secretariat. Each artist can send at most 5 posters to this festival to take part in this match.

It should be noted that the participators of this festival should fill the form of participation in this festival and they send it to the festival secretariat along with a 3X4 photo.

Those works that have gotten positions in this match before, they won’t be allowed to take part in this match.

The festival secretariat is allowed to use the photos that will be selected by the juries in some affairs such as advertising and to hold a photo show of these photos. The winners of the festival will be announced in the closing ceremony of the festival on Saturday, October 01, 2011, the day of Sympathy with Palestinian Children.

The juries of this festival are from Revolution and Sacred Defense Photographers Committee.
