Enemies Seek Discord among Nations in the Region

Ahmadinejad pointed out that the accumulated wealth in some western countries is the result of looting the resources and wealth of other nations, reiterating, “The colonialists, or slave keepers of hundreds of years ago, launch invasions against various countries, including the African countries, and took advantage of the human force of those countries to run their factories, and to cultivate their farms, paying them nothing in return for their work.”?

He added, “If the oppressor powers would be obliged to pay the salaries of the same workers today, nothing would be left of their wealth.”?

Ahmadinejad said that there are very rich mines in regional countries, particularly in Afghanistan, Pakistan and the Arab countries, arguing, “The colonialists know that the main part of the world wealth is concentrated in this region and the regional nations can provided whatever they need taking advantage of their own recourses, needless of them.”?

He added, “Therefore, the hegemonic powers devised a historic program aimed at creating obstacles in the way of advancement and development of the regional countries, so that these countries would remain dependant on them for good.”?

The president said that the colonialist countries resorting to negative propagations are after creating gaps and sowing the seeds of discord among the regional nations.

“The regional countries and nations have no problem with each other, because they are civilized and history maker nations and Afghanistan, for instance, as one of the regional nations, throughout the past 100 years has managed to break the backbones of two superpowers.”?

Ahmadinejad pointed out that there are wise, pious, and devoted people in Afghanistan, and endless opportunities for advancement there, adding, “The enemies of your country do not want Afghanistan to become an advanced and independent country, because they know if the people in that country would be free and well developed, there would remain no room for the aliens to loot their wealth.”?

The president said, “When the enemies of Iran and Afghanistan want to show images of our countries to their nations, they show our deserts and a number of camels. By doing so they intend to ruin the reputation of the regional countries in the minds of the world nations, so that they would manage to block the path for progress of these countries.’

He added, “That is because if the world nations would see that these countries have achieved advancement and development, they would also hope for freedom and ridding themselves of the oppressors’ hegemony, and this would disturb the oppressor powers’ programs for exerting their hegemony over the entire world.”?

Ahmadinejad pointed out that the two Iranian and Afghan nations have a historic responsibility today, and that is to disturb the existing wrong equations that are in favor of the oppressors, and by standing side by side of each other, line up against the neo-colonialists.

The president then focused on the situation in occupied Palestine, arguing, “The forged Zionist regime is an obvious example of the neo-colonialists, since it has all the negative points of the oppressor powers in itself, and so long as this forged regime has at its disposal, even an inch of the soil of Palestine’s soil, neither the Palestinian nation, nor the regional nations would experience peace.”?

Ahmadinejad pointed out that the colonialists, and particularly the Zionist regime, are not committed to any laws, or treaties, adding, “Today the regional countries must be united, because the neo-colonialists do not want the Islamic countries to enjoy prosperity.”?

He added, “Therefore, if the neighboring countries would cooperate with the neo-colonialists, they had better know that they have committed their greatest historic mistake.”?

The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran stressed, “Today, Afghanistan has a Central Government and a National Parliament, with whose presence the Afghan nation can be witness to the advancement of its country and in this respect the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready for any kind of cooperation with the Government and the Parliament of that neighboring country.”?

Elsewhere in his remarks Ahmadinejad referred to the massacre of the innocent Libyan nation, saying, “The neo-colonialists have established the UN Security Council so that under its banner they could do whatever they wish to do. Resorting to that organ and by looting the nations’ wealth, they are after becoming the masters of the world. It is unacceptable that the NATO, resorting to a UN Security Council resolution, would keep on killing the innocent people of that country.”?

The president said, “Today the same historic enemies of the Libyan people, resorting to new methods, are after looting their country’s wealth so as to cure their own sick economies with their money.”?

In the meeting before President Ahmadinejad’s address the head of one of the commissions of the Afghan National Parliament referring to the historic relations between the two countries, said, “These two countries have ever since remote past enjoyed strong historic relations, and we hope such relations would expand more than ever before today.”?

He added, “Cooperation of the Islamic Republic of Iran with Afghanistan in various fields would be to the benefit of the two nations, and the region, and we hope this comprehensive cooperation would expand, particularly in entire economic, political and cultural fields.”?

In the meeting meanwhile the heads of the Afghan Parliament’s various commissions awarded a parliamentary medal to President Ahmadinejad.
