Newest Quran Translations Displayed at Quran International Fair
Navideshahed: The translation section of 19th International Quran Fair will be a display of the latest different translations of Quran.
According to Navideshahed and as stated by IBNA, the Deputy of the translation section of 19th International Quran Fair Abdullah Arab-zadeh told IBNA that the section will display the translated Qurans of the past three years which have been released throughout the world. The works will be presented in 41 versions.
Moreover the process of releasing the first Qurans and the Qurans which were rendered into other languages in Europe, written Persian translations of the holy book from the 6th century till the 14th century are among the other products.
He went on to say that the Qurans translated into Urdu by Abu-ala Moudoudi and Shiekh mohsen Ali Najafi will be unveiled as well.
Moreover sessions including "Quran language and its translation", "Importance and stance of translating Mazandarani interpretation in Persian literature", "indexing Quranic sources in European languages" and "Evolution of handwritten Persian Quran translations" will be held.
The 19th international Quran Fair will be held from July 28, 2011, until August 26 at Imam Khomeini's grand prayer grounds.
