Naming One of the Halls of “Organization for Prohibition of Chemical Weapons”? for “Sardasht”?

According to the report of Navideshahed; the information dissemination website of self sacrifice and martyrdom culture as quoting Press Office of Iran’s Embassy in La Haye, in the correspondence with Mr Ahmed Uzumju, Mr Kazem Gharib abadi, the Ambassador of our country referred to more than one hundred thousand victims of chemical weapons in our country during the imposed war. He further added: “Throughout the history, Sardasht is the first city that has been bombarded by suffocating chemical gases. And more than eight thousand defenseless people of this city have been martyred or severely wounded in these bombardments. And majority of these defenseless people were consisted of children, women and old people.”?
In his letter, Mr Gharib abadi added: “The catastrophe in Sardasht City and also similar cases in Iran have been so great that we still witness martyrdom of victims of chemical weapons every day. And it is while more than two decades passes since this tragic event.”?
It should be mentioned that the 62nd summit of Implementation Council of “Organization for Prohibition of Chemical Weapons”? will be held since today, Tuesday for four days. This summit will be held in the place of this organization located in La Haye of Holland.
It is also worth mentioning that Islamic Republic of Iran - which is the greatest victim of chemical weapons during the recent decades - is one of the most active members of this organization. Islamic Republic of Iran plays a key role in all issues discussed and focused in this organization.
