The Last Farewell

(Aa'zam Ardestani, The Martyr's Daughter)
They visited one of the religious authorities in the classroom on Wednesdays. My father drove the office car to go to this class in which moral arguments were put forward. One of his friends said so keenly.
We were astonished that time. Haj Mostafa was in the Base car right there. Since he never used the Base car, we went ahead and asked, "What's the matter, Haji? Why did you come in the office car?" "It's not a problem. I used it for the last time. At first we thought he meant that he wouldn't come in the Base car any more.
When the class finished, he kissed our faces happily and said, "Forget my sins!" My father was in his last days of his life and whenever he saw someone he asked for absolution. As if he had been inspired that he would die as a martyr.
He prepared himself to go to the office on Thursday morning. That is to say the day he was martyred. He appeared at the threshold of the door and said, "Monir, Aa'zam, Maryam, wake up! I am going out."
