Carefulness in Using Treasury
(By Lieutenant Ali Raheemian)
The General Ardestani's son by the name of Mohammad was in the fifth grade of elementary school and his final exams were about to begin. The place where he had to take the exams was far away from his home, and he had to start walking early in the morning. As the General was in the office, he has told the family that Mohammad had to go to the examination place himself. Then Mohammad went to the examination place by any way possible.
As I was sitting in the office, the telephone rang. I picked up the receiver. It was Martyr Ardestani's wife. She said "Mr. Raheemian, Mohammad has gone to the examination place and that place is far from here". Please send a car to bring him back. Then I sent a car to take his son from the examination place back home, taking care not to make him notice anything.
When the General went home at night, he asked questions about the exams and the way Mohammad had gone to the examination place.
Mohammad said, "Oh dad, it was pains taking for me to go there, but I came back comfortably. A car was sent for me from the office and took me back home. The General came to the operation department as usual the following morning. The way he treated me made me notice that he was annoyed with something. I said to myself, "Oh God, why does the General look so much annoyed so early in the morning?" I said nothing and I began to do my routine jobs. Then suddenly I heard the General's aiphone and he asked me to go to his office. I went into the room. As the General seemed angry, he looked at me and said, "Mr. Raheemian! Why do you send a car to bring my son, does the office belong to my son? You are not allowed to send the office car to bring back the members of my family!" The General was a happy-faced person and always smiled.
Because of my mistake, he had become so angry that I felt I deserved a severe punishment. But he just admonished me and I tried to act according to what he wished from that time onward."
